We had the opportunity to collaborate on many projects with Megasaray Group, one of Turkey's leading hotel chains. One of these projects involved transforming one of the hotel's older spaces into a Mini/Midi Club through renovation. We proudly present our Mini Club Belek project, designed with a biophilic approach.
Biophilic design is an approach to architecture and interior design that incorporates natural elements and forms inspired by nature to enhance the connection with the natural world. This design philosophy aims to strengthen humans' instinctive bond with nature. By using elements such as plants, natural light, and organic materials, biophilic design promotes peace, health, and well-being in living spaces. It encourages sustainability while providing psychological and physiological benefits. By creating nature-compatible spaces, biophilic design helps reduce stress levels and improves overall quality of life for users.
We aimed to reflect the biophilic concept in the space by using a natural material palette, ventilation systems, high ceilings, and designs that enhance natural light.
The entire area is surrounded by elements that appeal to children of all ages. We expressed soft forms that children can sense as soon as they approach the entrance, along with energetic and vibrant tones. For the main access door to the Mini Club, we designed it to feel like a passage to another world, resembling the colors and shapes of a rainbow.
As soon as children enter the space, they see clouds and birds above them, giraffes in front of them, and green plants almost everywhere, creating a safe, nature-themed play area. In addition to this, the space includes various games and play zones, as well as collective activity areas that are sure to catch their attention.
The club, designed to appeal to children of all ages, is divided into mini, midi, and baby sections. This allows children to play with peers of their own age group and engage in age-appropriate activities and games.
In our Mini Club design, tables for activities such as coloring and crafts are provided with age-appropriate, ergonomically designed furniture. Sinks placed near the activity areas allow children to wash their hands under supervision without leaving the activity zone.
In addition to activity areas, open play zones provide children with safe spaces to move and play freely. All the furniture in these areas features rounded edges and soft materials, prioritizing physical safety. Separate areas are dedicated to various activities like wall games, role-playing games, and career games, ensuring children can spend time without getting bored.
The designs of the wallpapers used in the space artistically depict geometrical shapes found in nature in a fairy-tale-like manner. The skylights incorporated into the design allow the space to make the most effective use of sunlight, prioritizing the physical and mental health of children. Natural light is also one of the key criteria of biophilic design.
The baby area, like the other sections, offers an interior space designed to support children's learning, enjoyment, and development. The area aims to create a warm atmosphere filled with child-friendly furniture and colorful decorative elements.
Animal figures and nature-themed wall decorations are applied to add a fun atmosphere to the space and encourage children's imagination. Wooden furniture enhances the space with its durability and natural aesthetic appeal.

Animal figures and nature-themed wall decorations have been applied to add a playful touch to the space and encourage children's imagination. Wooden furniture contributes to the space with both its durability and natural aesthetic.
Lighting elements in the space emit soft and natural light, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Cloud-shaped ceiling lamps serve both a decorative and functional role. The flooring has been chosen with children's safety in mind, made from non-slip and easy-to-clean materials.
Storage areas and shelves are designed to help children keep their toys and materials organized. Colorful drawers and boxes make it easier for children to find their belongings.
This play club has been carefully designed to be a safe and fun environment that supports children's social, emotional, and physical development.
A "nursery" baby care area has been included as part of the children's club to allow parents to meet their needs, such as diaper changes or breastfeeding, without having to return to their rooms while their babies are in the play area.

One of the most exciting areas of our miniclub, the PlayStation Room, is specially designed for gaming enthusiasts! With its colorful and energetic atmosphere, kids and teens can have fun playing their favorite games and enjoy friendly competition with their friends.
Designed with a retro gaming concept, the space features unique wall decorations, comfortable seating areas, and state-of-the-art gaming equipment, offering an unforgettable gaming experience!
One of the most relaxing areas of our miniclub, the Video Room, offers a fun and enjoyable cinema experience for children! With its colorful and comfortable seating, warm decor, and big screen, kids can watch their favorite movies and create unforgettable memories.
Designed with nature-themed details and film-inspired decorations, this space expands children's imagination while bringing them together with entertaining and educational content.
