Residential - Germany Dahn

We designed our residential project, where you can feel modernism and simplicity at every point, for two businesspeople clients in Germany. We created a material palette that balances the monochromatic color tones, which are essential to modernism, with the warmth of wood.

When you enter the living space, you are greeted by a spacious open kitchen and a bright living area. The kitchen countertop is designed in a U-shape, with the entire space effectively used for preparation and storage. The cooking and preparation areas are positioned to receive natural light, offering a bright and scenic experience during use. The dining table, integrated into the island, creates a holistic look while gaining character through its separation from the countertop by material choice.

In the design approach, the concept of balance was emphasized: solid flat walls are divided artistically, the white group seating is complemented by individual black armchairs, and the monochromatic look of the living area is balanced by a terracotta pouf.

The simplicity of the elements used does not take away from their elegance. The harmony within the space is matched so that each decorative element adds value to its character. The geometric composition, often found in modernism, can be felt in the composition of artworks, decorative elements, and functional furnishings.

In the interior design integrated with the architecture, we envisioned the terrace windows in a scenario where you can wake up with the sun or gaze at the stars, using the filters offered by the structure. The smart home systems, with the sliding blind system between the glass, open at the desired time, providing the experience of waking up with light and helping you find your circadian rhythm. In the user’s rest area, the space does not stand out with any unnecessary details and helps create a tranquil, not energetic, atmosphere. By using the thickness of the storage furnishings, the work area is positioned in a pocket that allows you to take the entire space behind you and provides you with a window to focus. Additionally, there is a sauna in the room where you can warm up while watching snowfall on cold days.

In the wet volumes, it is possible to observe the design language used throughout the space. The handwashing area, separated with linear elements, offers the opportunity to adjust the ambiance with various lighting options. The small volume of the area, compared to other spaces, gains a sense of spaciousness through the prominence of light tones. These light tones are warmed up by the wood-patterned ceramic used on the floor and balanced with black fixtures.

We tried to enrich the experience by placing abstract compositions that can be experienced from every angle by the user. The spaces made functional by emptying the volumes, the functions assigned to the voids created by large masses, and the linear design elements can be seen as examples of this composition. All these design decisions were not made solely with aesthetics in mind. The void created in the shower area eliminates the need for external sanitary fixtures by storing the products required during the shower. This way, the space becomes lighter, and the fixtures become a part of the space.

Just like in the master bedroom, the children's bedrooms also carry the traces of the same design decisions. The space is functional and light, free of any overwhelming elements.

The areas are designed to integrate with the architectural geometry. The arrangement of the spaces takes into account the positioning of sunlight, with considerations for both working and sleeping comfort. The main outlines of the design language can be seen throughout the entire space.

No matter which area you enter within the villa, you will be greeted by different compositions that speak the same language. In this project, which we designed with great pleasure, the interior design addresses all the key elements of any project, such as design language, integration with the space, aesthetic and functional balance, and the use of natural light, all of which were carefully considered in detail.

In this modern villa project, we completed our design services, which include 2D planning, 3D villa visualization, application projects, quantity and room files, furniture production drawings, and all necessary technical files, within 30 days. We are pleased to present it for your appreciation...
