Administrative Office - Yalova

Architecture is not just about shaping spaces; it is also the art of redefining them by blending traces of the past with the needs of the modern world. While designing the Yalova OSB Administrative Building, we adopted an approach that combines the strong and bold character of industrial architecture with the functionality of contemporary workspaces. This is not just an office building; it is a symbol that reflects industrial heritage, a structure that redefines work culture, and a space where innovation and tradition coexist.

At the core of the design, we incorporated raw materials that reflect Yalova OSB’s industrial spirit, bold geometric forms, and minimalist lines. The combination of traditional brick texture with modern steel structures on the exterior facade gave the space a nostalgic yet contemporary identity. The large glass surfaces, reminiscent of factory aesthetics, maximize natural daylight inside while strengthening the interaction between the building and its surroundings.

The open ceiling systems, metal details, and exposed structural elements emphasize the raw yet powerful nature of industrial design. In open office areas, the visible air ducts, metal grilles, and steel beams reflect the authentic character of industrial buildings, while adding a dynamic and contemporary energy to the interior.

The Yalova OSB Administrative Building was designed with a planning approach that enhances employee productivity and encourages social interaction. The open office concept was implemented to foster visual and physical engagement between workspaces. Unlike traditional office layouts, shared workspaces, flexible seating arrangements, and modular furniture were preferred instead of individual rooms.

To ensure comfort and efficiency, ergonomic desks and seating units were designed to provide a comfortable working environment for long hours. In this open-plan structure, acoustic panels and glass partitions were specially designed to control noise levels and maintain privacy.

The steel staircase structure connecting the different levels of the building is not just a circulation element, but also a key part of the architectural narrative. The openings supported by mezzanine floors enhance the spatial depth, while the combination of steel and wood adds both warmth and modernity to the space.

The large windows used at floor transitions strengthened the relationship between the building and its exterior. This not only increased natural light exposure for interior users but also created an effect that softens the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The Yalova OSB Administrative Building offers a timeless workspace by blending the heritage of industrial architecture with modern design principles. The use of raw materials, flexible spatial organization, and strong architectural details felt in every corner of the building give the space a distinct and enduring identity.

This project not only provides a functional workspace for employees but also becomes a strong representation of modern architecture, serving as an aesthetic interpretation of industrial heritage. Going beyond conventional office design, it addresses both social and individual needs, reinforces a sense of belonging, and seamlessly integrates corporate identity with architecture, extending its impact into the future.

As a space that transforms work culture, this environment represents a forward-thinking design approach that shapes the future of professional life. The Yalova OSB Administrative Building is an inspirational living space for the business world, built on the perfect balance of function and aesthetics, past and future, technology and nature.
