Surrounded by the unique nature of Tekir Plateau and the majestic presence of Mount Erciyes, Mount Erciyes Ski Hotel has come to life as one of the prestigious projects for which we undertook the architectural design. Offering a comfortable accommodation experience for ski enthusiasts and nature lovers, the hotel stands out with its modern architectural lines and details that harmonize with the region’s character.
Mount Erciyes Ski Hotel provides guests with two different accommodation options: studio and duplex rooms. We tailored our designs to complement this variety, creating spaces that speak the same design language and aesthetically blend seamlessly with one another.
During the design process, our top priority was to make Erciyes’ unique mountain view an integral part of the rooms. Through large windows and thoughtful space organization, we ensured that guests could experience a seamless connection with nature. The selected color palette and materials were carefully chosen to create a natural, warm, and inviting atmosphere.
In ski hotel designs, functionality is just as important as comfort. With this awareness, we incorporated special areas where guests can dry their clothes after skiing. By integrating both elegant and practical solutions, we aimed to elevate the accommodation experience to the highest level.
The fundamental reason behind the minimalist design approach in the rooms was to remind guests why they are here: to spend time in nature.
By creating simple yet functional spaces, free from unnecessary details, we aimed to establish an atmosphere that does not overwhelm the eyes but instead provides a sense of relaxation. In this way, the rooms became not just a place to stay but a living space that strengthens the connection with nature.
In the bathroom designs of Mount Erciyes Ski Hotel, functionality and aesthetic balance were prioritized. By combining natural stone textures with warm wooden details, a modern yet inviting atmosphere was achieved. The bathrooms were enriched with natural materials to allow guests to experience the tranquility of nature even indoors. Recessed and indirect lighting sources were used to highlight the design while also creating a soothing ambiance.
Additionally, great emphasis was placed on ease of use in the design. The glass partition in the shower area enhances transparency and a sense of spaciousness, while hanging details and storage spaces stand out as elements that improve functionality. Designed with a minimalist and organized aesthetic, the bathrooms complement the overall design language of the hotel, reflecting an approach that prioritizes guest comfort.
