Factory, Showroom, and Office - Yalova, Turkey
For Delfin Crane, a giant brand in its sector both in Turkey and globally, we designed the office and showroom project in the newly established green industrial site, YİMES OSB, in Yalova Kılıç. This project is the Özarar&Delfin Crane Yalova Production Facility.
The corporate identity of the brand, in a sector deeply rooted in engineering and industrialism, was inspired by this theme. The color scheme and characters blend industrial design with modernity. We were asked to create our designs with these filters in mind.
As you enter the space, the combination of 7-meter sheet metal columns, raw concrete, perforated mesh, and micro-concrete materials immediately immerses you in the industrial and production-centric atmosphere of the company. In the waiting area, you can observe the company’s history and references. This area was designed to convey the company’s deep-rooted history, experience, and scale.
On the office floor, we adopted an office design approach that prioritizes comfort and productivity. We created an office environment with a workspace that facilitates team collaboration, a separate area for meetings and presentations, a secluded space for rest and phone calls, and storage areas.
Acoustic control was ensured with the materials used for the flooring. Impact-absorbing and soundproof materials were also preferred for the wall coverings. The use of wood added a natural feel to the space, and by using tones close to the rawest form of wood, we made another reference to industrial office design.
The design of the meeting area continues with the same industrial office design concept used throughout the space. A memory wall displaying the company history and cranes produced by the company over time highlights the brand identity. Acoustic control has been ensured with the use of wall panels and flooring materials, taking into consideration the sound quality during meetings.
In the furniture designs and selections, material and form choices were made in line with the industrial office design concept.
While designing the Chairman's office, the industrial office design concept was maintained, but personal nuances were also incorporated. The Chairman's personal interest in horses was reflected in the décor and artwork selections, symbolizing power and movement.
Different seating areas have been designed for meetings at every level, both maintaining and eliminating status. The wall unit, which includes the Chairman's personal collection, serves both as a display case and as storage space.
In the relaxation area, which includes a screen for presentations and viewing during breaks, there is also a mini bar that holds the Chairman's personal drinks.
